The role of the Parish Committees is to Discern, Discuss, Decide, Implement, and Evaluate how to foster community engagement, genuine accompaniment, and encourage growth in our faith journey. Each committee has a specific focus area of parish life. You can learn more about those areas in the descriptions below.
The Outreach Committee seeks to discover ways to engage members of the parish seeking to learn more about their life journey, accompanying them, and encouraging them. The committee assists ministries such as the Welcome Ministry.
The Adult Faith Formation Committee discovers and discusses various opportunities for parishioners to grow in their faith. They look to provide gatherings that encourage conversations around our faith journey through simple Catholic topic gatherings, Bible Studies, Small Group sessions during Advent and Lent, and social community gatherings.
The Parish Communications Committee helps strengthen communication throughout our parish community. The committee evaluates parish communication channels and recommends ways to make them clearer, more accessible, consistent, and effective. It brings the parishioners’ perspective to ensure that communications are welcoming, informative, and reflective of our parish life and mission.
